![]() ![]() ![]() The 9 WC seeds populated by those placing in the Regionals will be matched up against the returning World Champion, one of this year's Guild Champions, or the 1st and 2nd place finishers of the Win & You're In contest described above.Įach Regional Tournament will begin 1 week from the last, each starting on the following schedule: First, Second, and Third place finishes in each regional will be guaranteed entry to the WC. These are designed to allow a new or returning player with skill to have a shot at WC qualification even if they don't have time to grind their way in during the January event. Regional Tournaments have always been a part of Shadow Era, but this year and moving forward, they will be a little different. The remaining entries will be selected in a series of 3 Regional Tournaments to be held in late January / Early February of 2023.
